All our chicks are named after the hometowns of visitors to the house, we've got...
Meredith Mankinholes, Fukuoka, Ockley, Wongan, Ben Wallingford, The countess of Chester, Vertex Santa Rosa Muppet (silkie cockrel), Splady Colombo and Aramis Havant!

I have a Polish rooster named Einstein and his girl is Emma. 2 Silkies a black named Licorice and a blue named Cordon Blue. A barred Rock rooster named Penguin (Peng for short) and his son Pong. We have 2 bantam Cochins and since thet orignated in China they are Hop-Sing and Mei-Ling. We had a bantam Cochin rooster named Forrest Gump but he has since crossed over. We have a duck named Laurel actually we had 2 that DH and Laurel and Hardy, but Hardy got taken by an Owl after DH forgot to put them up one night when they were smaller. 2 Speckled Sussex named Speckle and Sparkle.I have an annoyingly broody Australorp that was original named Betty but now she is Aussie and her twin named Patooty. Our first 2 RIR's were Laughing and Gravy, DH idea because of a Three Stoogies shows(yes he is wierd). and 2 NN's because they orignated in Romania are Nadia and Natasha.

Named by the 3rd graders that hatched him - (he was a Black and Yellow peep)

We had a Kym after Kym Johnson who was Hines Ward's dancing partner on Dancing with the Stars, but she got killed

We have a rooster named Rufus, because he is a roo, and he used to be a real doofus, thus, Roo-fus. But he's grown up now and a very good roo, so I actually think of him as Rufus now so he feels more dignified!
We used to have two hens named Lily, because they were BR chicks with the little white spot on their black heads, and DH had a friend named Liliana who had black hair with a beatiful gray streak (she's in her 20s) - he actually asked her permission to name the chicks after her!

Our sweet little Australorp, the first hen we raised by hand - we called Coco. However, she has turned to the dark side and pecks at us now and thinks she is 'supreme ruler'. So she is now known as 'Darth Coco'.
