Stray(?) Cat

So a few days ago a cat was sitting on the porch, which isn’t odd because animals are dropped off all the time. He was clearly once a house cat because he had good looking fur and was extremely friendly with people and dogs. I figured he could stay around and then I started noticing his nose/mouth area was overly wet. It is cold outside so I’m wondering if it’s just a cold or could be something more serious. Any answers?

My guess would be a respiratory infection. Some can get over them without treatment. I guess it depends on your plans for him. If you decide to claim him as your own he will be better off seeing a vet.

I'd have a plan; take him to your veterinarian, or to the shelter/ humane society. Nice cats deserve nice homes!
