Stray chicken. What do I do?, and it’s been SO hot.

You'd have to pen it up and feed it for a couple months to get some meat on its bony butt before you could butcher it!

Orrrrr you could skip feeding a chicken for months licking your chops waiting for it to fatten up, then butchering it, then plucking it, cooking it etc and go to your local Costco and pick up a rotisserie for $5. Jus sayin’

A rotisserie that came from a chicken with a horrible and short life.

Plus store-bought rotisserie chickens are treated with hormones and seasoned with chemicals to make them taste good. Not that I don't buy one occasionally, but I feel thoroughly guilty while eating it.

I was kidding, too much money and time for a Leghorn carcass.
On a serious note, it was awful kind that you rescued the poor girl and found her a good home. This world needs more people with a heart like yours!

I was kidding too! I’m new to the chicken world and I have seriously considered becoming a vegetarian, or at least try my best to eat cruelty free meat. It’s next to impossible to feed your body pure food that’s not pumped with hormones and chemicals but I guess every little bit counts!

I live my lifestyle so that I DON'T have to resort to communal living........ I like doing things my own way far too much for that cult stuff
