what kind of duck in black and yellow when young ? one of my neighabors brought me one today that just wandered up in his yard .
black beak, black feet .

I was thinking mallard too. Does it have a stripe through its eye?

I wend back out to the brooder where it is in with about a dozen chicks , it is mostly black with yellowwith black stripes on both sides of head and neck and there is a black stripe that runs through the eye , we don't know if it's wild or domestic , but seems to have settled in and is eating and otherwise seems to be doing well .
