Sandkit heard her brother talking to another cat not far away. She sat in the tree not moving.

"Sorry.." she sighed.

"It's fine.." Bristlekit said. "I went looking for my sister, Sandkit, and I got lost. She left the clan." he said.

At the mention of her name, Sandkit tensed. Then, realizing they couldn't find her, she relaxed.

Bristlekit sighed. "Maybe. She always hated being around other cats." he mumbled.

Sandkit thought. The only cat she liked to be around was her brother. But if she stayed with him, in the clan, she would be around other cats, too.

"Hey wanna go hunting?" Thunderheart asked Lightningpelt. "Umm, I'm kinda busy," Lightningpelt replied, looking around for Whispermist.

"That is why I'm a loner a dog killed my family and my brother could of stopped it but didn't so that is why I am a loner." she hinted.

"I can't join a clan...I was forbid to join clans." she frowned, then heard some rattling bushes.
