"String" attached from chickens head to the shell

This chicken took over 24 hrs to full hatch. It is now out, trying to move around. Finally got its head up and out of the shell but there is a string attaching it to the shell. Wonder if I should let it go and it will dry off or pull itself free or if I need to help it. It looks dry.

That may be the umbilical cord, if it is attached to the chicks abdomen.
Leave it be at least for now so it dries. If you pull the shell off it may bleed. The chick will eventually pull it free herself.
It is normal for the chick to be exhausted after a long hatch. Let her dry off and rest in the incubator.
