well you cant really get quail chicks shipped i dont think. youd have to pick up locally. eggs can be shipped, but some people think they have a lower hatch rate from being shipped. also being that you have chickens im sure you have a bit of experience under your belt, and the breed you pick should be for what your needs are with them. buttons are more like pets, whereas if you wanted meat and eggs a different breed might be better. id say try getting them from someone on here if you can, i think its a bit more personal and you can see how they care for their birds and be comfortable knowing exactly where they come from. some places that ship the eggs get them from breeders outside of their facilities so you cant be entirely sure.

Thank you

I want a quail breed that lays eggs good also a good meat breed

maybe a coturnix would be better suited to you? theyre used for both meat and eggs as well as making good pets from what ive seen. ive heard the meat is really good, just make sure if you get quail not to put them near your chickens. chickens can give them diseases and kill them, since chickens can have diseases without showing symptoms. theres a thread on the quail forum called coturnix basics if youd like some further reading and info. very detailed log of keeping coturnix and all the info youd need to start out.

Thank you that's proably what I will get I will keep them away from my chickens thank yall for all the help
