There's different widths of tubing, so what width is recommended?Get the tube first. you need abou 16". Then take the tube to TSC and find the largest syringe that it will attach to.

I think it would be better if I ordered it accordingly, since I don't know what size the stuff is at my grandpa's house.The standard is 3/16 inch diameter
That sounds like ascites. How old is she?Do you think tube feeding is what I need to do? She is pretty swollen in her abdomen, & it's firm now. At the beginning things were normal, but straining with prolapse.
