Stubborn Prolapsed Silkie Hen.

When I deal with prolapse, I clean the vent every few hours with witch hazel. It's soothing and wet and may help keep swelling down. In the morning my patient gets the butt wash to clean up the slime deposited overnight.

I like placing my patient on absorbent towels so I have a better chance of seeing what gets expelled, although sometimes it's not something that's readily visible. Sometimes the only way I know the obstruction has cleared is when the prolapse finally retracts on its own, and then my patient often behaves as though she hasn't spent the past week in agony.

I don't have Witch hazel, but I have hemorrhoid wipes which contains 50% witch hazel. I won't be able to clean her off every few hours since my birds are kept at my grandpa's house since he lives out in farm country.

At most I can do is clean her off once a day.

She was also pushing after I gave her the calcium Citrate before she tried to retract her prolapse.

She laid an egg today, so I don't believe there's an obstruction in her reproductive tract.
Now I'm worried her intestines may burst, she's still straining too poop, & her abdomen has swollen, & abit firm now since she hasn't pooped much at all.

My last option I feel like maybe doing enemas on her. What size catheter should I get for a 6ml syringe?
