stuck chick, rescued, but now no tail!

I have a tail-less easter egger roo. When he was hatching, he was really stuck in his shell, just his butt and lower back. He had bits of shell on him, and I thought they would come off on their own, but they didnt so I helped with some warm water and a gentle tug. He never had any fuzz on his butt, and was pretty ugly, so I called him Fugly. I figured when he feathered out he would get some tail feathers- but nope. He is 10 weeks old now and looks like some weird breed of tail-less rooster. Has anyone had this happen before?

Do you have pictures? Where did you get the egg he hatched from?

I've heard of Rumpless Araucana before. Maybe that's what he mostly has in him? Google some pics and see what you think.

No, no, he just had no tail due to losing it on the gg shell. We butchered him about a month ago, no photos. But he was cool looking!
