Yep... this is my 3rd attempt at this recipe I've been working on. I think I hit the nail on the head today.
Today I left out the cream cheese and jam I wanted to do previously, today I did this fresh cranberry sauce I made really quickly before stuffing the crescent roll dough.
I think they came out GORGEOUS!
(topped with maple syrup and whipped cream)
For you people following my diet and struggles, I used the 'reduced fat' crescents. ...as if it makes a difference! HAHAHA
The original attempt, with low fat creamcheese and sugar free jam, 1 stuffed french toast with 2 tbsp maple syrup is about 360 calories.
