Stupid bug bites.

AHHH help me please! I've been bitten. On my legs, buy some king of bug. And I need to get the redness out, and reduce the swelling. As I'll be wearing "short" shorts tomorrow and want to look half way presentible, anyway home remidies please, thanks

Do you have any cortisone cream or spray around? If not, cold compresses soaked in rubbing alcohol work pretty well too. I've read that meat tenderizer is good for bug bites too.

Visine helps knock down some of the redness. Been known to slap Blu-kote on, esp my very allergic kid, works great, but the blue is more visible than the red.
