STUPID DOG! Why dont people keep track of their dogs? grrr!

Where I live in the mountains of NC its pretty much understood by all the neighbors that if you allow your dog to run free and terrorize other peoples property the dog will be shot. We dont have alot of trouble with wandering dogs.

My neighbor's dog, down the road, jumped on my chickens tonight and my grandchildren happened to be on the other side of the coop. It then ran off. Luckily it didn't kill any of them. My grandson chased the dog back to its house and then told the neighbors what had happened. Their response was "what do you expect when you let your chickens free range" As I posted yesterday, it is now time to take control of the situation, especially since my chickens were on my property sitting just outside the coop. If neighbors are so asinine to think that way, then I need to get on their level and take care of the dog. I am really mad. franko
