i have several hens that stoped molting few of weeks ago and i expected some eggs by now i only had one hen old enough to lay at the time now i should have 3 or 4 more now their wattles are red and their vents have widened and they're set and i expected eggs a week ago giving them some time after the molt but now two weeks after the week after the molt still no eggs!!! i really want some eggs!! because i have a new roo and i was banking on a few hens laying but no hens laying=no babies
i hope so its not like i dont love them its just sometimes when i have stuff come up like this i hang on it they are adorable and they'll lay when their ready i guess but how long does it really take after a molt to lay??? my ducks are STILL molting!!! but they havent even thought about laying yet!!
