Stupid Feed Store people!! *fluff pics pg2*

I made the call earlier today, I don't go there often so I wasn't worried about them having my name, they don't give out that info anyway. Fingers are crossed that they get in there & get them to take care of the problem and hopefully teach them it is not okay to treat the poor things like they are... .

So sorry to read about little Hodgins. You had only just posted a photo on here, and she was just so cute. You have come full circle- first rehoming the gosling that were picking on your ducklings- and now giving some goslings that were in great need of a good loving home somewhere safe to live and grow.

Its so sad to see the condition that animals can be kept in when they are nothing more than $$$ to someone.

Sometimes I get really upset seeing animals in feed stores. They always look so stressed out and frightened. One day I saw a poor gosling with his wing caught in the flooring of his cage at a feed store. I went to the front desk to tell the cashier. She rolled her eyes and said "oh he has been doing that all day. I'm sure he"ll get out." That wasn't good enough for me, so I found a young man stocking shelves and told him. He went straight over there and helped the poor thing out. I don't think the gosling made it though because he was so weak from being stuck, and lord knows how long. Once free he just laid there very lethargic. It was awful to witness. Good for you for saving those two!!!!

So upsetting. I try so hard NOT to go over to the tubs full of babies..........

Good for you for saving the ones you did. I hope the rest of them find loving homes. Sometimes stores/people can be so ridiculous.
Poor things. I have seen something not as bad as that but still not very good.
