hehehe! can't believe I'm going to post this... but here goes....
My son (8yo) and my DH performed this trick at Thanksgiving dinner at the in-laws... at the dinner table... w/ all their family there..
DH farted... and 8yo sniffed the air and claimed he could tell what DH ate at his last meal.
I was mortified! in-laws were not phased by it.
Apparently dh and son had this joke they'd been practicing or something or whatever. I'm still not amused!
Neat tricks for the less embarassing members of the family..
12yo son can win almost whatever he wants to out of coin machines... I say almost b/c it's more like 95% of the time.
It started when he was 2 and wanted to get some stickers out of one of those sticker machines.. I told him no, I didn't have any change... so he said he didn't need change... he walked up, pulled the lever thing and out came a sticker... the one he wanted too. Candy machines work the same way for him. He used to LOL at me when I told him "no" that he couldn't have any gum/candy from the machine... and he'd sneak away and get some.. w/out coins... they just work for him. Now he's moved on to the crain games and will sit there and win his siblings whatever toys they want out of them. It's crazy! I told him when he turns 18 he's goin' to the casino with me!!!!!!!!!
6yo DD is part monkey! She can climb most anything.. and she climbs HIGH w/ no fear.. .until she has to figure out how to get down! She was about 80 ft up a pine tree out here when we first moved in. I had to put an end to that.. and hung a knot tied rope instead. She did a rock climbing thing at the fair last week and within seconds was up to the top, while the other two (teenager and adult) were struggling to just get halfway. She's part monkey I tell ya!
8yo (the fart smellin' one) has a photographic memory.. but I think that's more part of his autism. He's also got a great ear (or sensitive ears) that he's the first to point out when you're singing out of tune!
hehehe!
The younger two.. well haven't quite learned their gifts yet!
Me, I can p/u things w/ my toes like a couple others on here... it was very handy when I was pregnant.. much easier to p/u toys and clothes off the floor. I didn't realize others couldn't do that? My 6yo plays the piano w/ her toes... LOL (the part monkey)
