I've Had to divide my flock as I have new chicks in w older ones. 6 live inside coop and 2 live in run in a tub with chips and a wood barrier for rain etc... Tonight I noticed the leghorn was not in the tub with the other- she was on a branch I put in the run on the babies side. So I lifted her and put her in the tub... Stupid me reading now how they roost when they sleep- it's still cold out and I was worried....
and Welcome To BYC! If I understand correctly you have the two six week old babies in a run by themselves, and one of them decided to roost/ sleep outside on a branch instead of in the tub/house where she was protected from the weather? At six weeks I don't think I would want a chick sleeping outside when it is 35* out, if it rains or she gets wet you could have a very chilled chick. They are at the age though where they will be wanting more and more to roost, is there anyway you can modify the baby run so they can roost in the tub or something?
