I'm a Brit with an allotement.... It's for compost and ground improvement as far as I need it.

Is there not a large amount of sayings about "where there's sh*t there's brass" ... (Brass, read money) ? It is an integral part of a cycle

Sams club sells some very nice cheap and effective composting bins. Works great to through poop and bedding together. breaks down into a very nice soil!

Compost - I didn't realize that there WAS anything else to do with it.

I never have composted it I always use cow poo. Dad hauls it over and dumps it next to my garden and Mountainman tills it in. I dddnever have used the chicken poo cause it is mixed with mulch and straw. Straw seeds sprout up and I don't want that in my garden. So now my chickens are making me more money.
