stupid SIL

Okay... this is what I posted in my facebook status yesterday:

Georgia "let her chickens free range in the backyard for the first time tonight. They were hilarious to watch. Hope the neighbors don't think I'm crazy, lol!"


and stupid SIL had to post this: "Ya Im pretty sure we all think you're crazy regardless of their location...but we still love ya sister!"

I think she put the 'love ya sister' on the end just so she didn't sound like a b*#$%. I really can't stand her.

I know it's ridiculous that I'm even upset, but about everything she does rubs me the wrong way. Sooooo not my personality to be a drama queen but sometimes she deserves a good

just fyi this is what i posted back: "Well, if I'm crazy b/c I'd rather have fresh eggs than 2 month old ones or that I'd rather have eggs from hens that aren't kept in tiny cages their whole lives then I'd rather be crazy.

I feel the same way about my sil and some of my friends aren't "into" the chicken thing...to say the least...

They don't know what they're missing, you stay strong girl!

Don't worry about it. My whole family thinks I'm crazy. LOL. I stopped posting on facebook about my status, but my DH does and my sister sees it and passes it on to my parents......My MIL keeps saying "you're not getting more birds, Right? Don't you have enough?" But she doesn't complain when we give her fresh eggs.

What you need is to add some BYC friends to your facebook account and we'd fill up your comment section with - "Awesome!" and "Beautiful birds!" and "Good for you!"

Then we'd invite you to check out our pictures of our new hatch or new coop and compare the number of eggs collected.

Then we'd get you to play Farm Town and Farmville and send you virtual chickens and sheep.

(You should hide you SIL, so her comments don't show up on your wall.

Sounds to me like she is showing the same "love" to you as what you are now showing to her.

I am "Clucking nuts" as according to my dh, and his friends have picked up on calling me that (in fun, not to be mean. If someone outside of our small group of brothers and friends said that they'd stand up for me)

I'd rather be clucking nuts if it means my hens are treated well and my eggs are fresh.

Goody! Another "crazy chicken lady"!!! Thats what my FIL called me. It got back to me through a very innocent grandson(his, my nephew). So I named our "operation" The Crazy Coop!
