If these packages were delivered by the Post Office then I would call your local postmaster and report the theft.

The Post Office has its own 'police force' and treats mail theft as a very serious crime.

Maybe take a walk, and look in trash cans nearby, or in the ditches nearby to see if you can find where they tossed it..... and if you do find the box, maybe take to the PO for the police to dust for prints.

I know, I know, it is a long shot, but hey! That is a chunk of change, and little lives that might be saved if you can find it.

Had a computer teacher that had a laptop case stolen out of his car. Nothing in it, but I told him to check the ditches about a block square of where he lived. He found the case. Apparently, theives look to see what they found really soon after they steal something enclosed. Nothing they want, they toss it as dead weight.

I am sure they had no clue there were eggs in it.

Last Thursday around 7:30 pm the door bell rang and there stood a lady in I would say her mid 50's. I went ahead and opened the door and she said that her son and wife to be were looking to buy the house on our street that was for sale and she wanted to know what type of neighborhood it was, safe, lots kids, older people etc. etc.
I thought it was very suspicious so when I went back in I went ahead and called the cops. Turns out that is exactly what her and her husband were doing. How the cops knew this, who knew, I apoligized to the cops for wasting their time but the cop told not to apoligize. That theft and scams are going through the roof because of the economy and the story sounded a little suspicious to them as well.
