I reached under my broody hen and grabbed an egg. I put it on our candler and saw veins and a little black spot!! I am so excited!! I hope the others are like that too!!

how long was she sittting?? I have several broody but I collect them daily. If she's going to do her job, how long should I let them sit?

I think she has been sitting for 2 weeks, but this is the first time I have candled them. It usually takes about 3 weeks for them to hatch give or take a few days. I hope this helps
