I made an incubator and hatched one and lost one. I have four eggs left in it.
We’ve only lost four chickens. One I had to put down because of bad legs. It was unable to walk.
For housing I started out with a Walmart storage tub but quickly realized that it wasn’t going to work as they grew so I built one that’s 3’x4’ and on wheels.
We love raising them. They’re so much fun to watch grow and are very entertaining.
