If anyone has any information, assistance, guidance...I'm open for suggestions. One of my chickens, Bella, was being bullied: feathers plucked, etc. Last week I went into the coop and she was sitting on the floor - away from all the others. She was not acting normally. Her eyes were swollen, but not bloodied. She does not have any discharge from her nasal passages. Her poop is watery. We seperated her into another coop. Within two days, she was extremely weak. She would not leave the coop on her own power. She waddles around near the walls. We realized she could not see to find the food and water dishes. My daughter spends time with her daily to feed her and make sure she drinks water. When my daughter brings "Bella" out to sun in the yard, the others peck her until she bleeds. It is so sad to watch her like this. Any suggestions?

I am so sorry to hear about your poor Bella. My sister has a goose that lost his eye sight and greyfields told her what to get and it has helped. I do not know if it would help with your hen though. My sister is on vacation right now, so I am unable to ask her. Maybe you could PM greyfields and ask him what the meds. is called. I think that it was Tetramyacin optical, but not sure. Better to ask greyfields or someone else that would know.

I hope that she gets better. Good luck.

Dorothy

Thanks for the warm welcome and the information. I will try to send a pm to greyfields.
I appreciate the help.
