Suddenly I need a minivan

Oh man, I love our Odyssey. It is our third Honda Vehicle. Each one has been great. They just run and run. The latest Honda is two years old. Has had no mechanical issues and is doing great. I agree with the leather seats. Three kids make it a MUST HAVE.

I too was a NO MINI VAN person, until the third child made it necessary. Its good on gas, and I can lay the seats flat to haul chicken feed!!

ee And the DVD playerfor the kids means I get peace and quiet for the length of the ride.

I have a 1995 GMC Suburban, that will seat 8, I love it!!! I haul my three kids, three of my cousins kids and my nephew to school in it, and still have room to stick more stuff in the back, usually Maggie dog

the minivans are all right, I needed four wheel drive to get in and out of our driveway in the winter, besides I have always had a truck and couldn't bring my self down to a minivan

I didn't want to be that mom, but I will say that the minivans are super comfortable and get a lot better mileage... Hope you find a nice vehicle!!

If you drive 10,000 miles a year, at current gas prices the difference between 18 mpg and 24 mpg is about $700/year...just something to keep in mind.

So, anyway, I gotta wait....BUT I am really leaning toward a Honda Odyssey at this point. I like the fact the frame/axle is wide and it sits lower, plus the cargo space and the fuel mileage isn't bad at all. They look kinda strange

but on a scale of one to ten the importance of looks is about a one or less. It definately is at the top of the list right now, and it would take a really good unable to pass it up kinda deal to get me to change my mind. If I can find one at a reasonable price, I'm pretty well sold on the Odyssey thanks to all the rave reviews I have gotten here. Thanks BYC!!!
