I dont have anything for sale at the moment. I did have two one-month-old Orp chicks, but they are sold and being picked up Sunday. I have a hen on five EEs and one BBS Orp egg, due July 4, but that's all, sorry.

Ooo this is a fun thread. I love to see the crosses grow out. I always wonder how they turn out on all those other threads where people post pics of the chicks.

Yep, Meg and Suede make some interesting babies. They would be quite large since Meg is from exhibition Orp size stock and her sire was a big RIR boy; add that to Suede's 14 lb of big blue and you'll definitely have some big chicks. Funny, though, that the barred baby they had was not that large.

Meg and Suede have produced another heir. Here she is ... Polly! Polly was named after her daddy's side of the family. That is, Polly, as in Polyester. If she does decide to crow when she grows up, her name will change to Cord (as in Corduroy).

Her hatchmate, Holly, (from the Barred Rock family), came along for the photo shoot. Holly is Fern's first chick, and grandchick to Ivy. Holly has to be female, because she already acts just like her mother!
