Suger water

Should I use sugar or honey how much do I put in considoring gallon amounts? Just going to get my chicks exited but sorta nervous.

Electrolytes are better than sugar for new chicks. If you do have chicks that look like they need a boost and you do not have electrolytes, Storey's Guide to Raising Chicks recommends 1 1/2 cups of sugar per gallon. Good luck with the new ones.

They also do just fine on plain old water. Just sayin'

Don't give them sugar water. They'll get diarrhea. Plain ol' water is best.
