Suitable for Quail?

Those prefab hutches are very flimsy. I have a larger one that sits on the ground, but it’s the same type of wood. I had to reinforce all the corners and joints, and I’m still afraid to lean on it. Those things just don’t have the lasting power.
I’ve had great success making cages out of pvc and hardware cloth.

Wouldn't recommend... A raccoon could easily kill one through the bars or pull out the tray and grab them.

I think going DIY with inspiration of this design might be better option. I would like something easy on their feet and easy cleaning.
