Sulcata tortoise hatchlings not moving much

Ok so one of them is eating a lot and sleeping normally but the other one is always sleeping and only eats a little bit and has watery eyes, also neither of them have been going to the bathroom when I soak them daily, should I be worried about the one that's not eating much
I would not worry about it yet. They're still pretty small. Give them some time.

Ok, I just never had tortoises before so I'm completely new to their behaviors and get worried if something seems off lol
Everything, and I mean everything, happens slowly with torts. The move on a very different time scale compared to just about any other kind of animal, and you'll get used to it as you get more time with them :)

2 weeks or so. Is it active at all? even minimally?
Well not really, its sleeping most of the time and when I pick it up it keeps its eyes closed, I read that the uvb light could hurt the eyes so I've only been keeping it on periodically but it doesn't help

youre still doing the daily soaks? Sounds like it's torpid. no snotty nasal discharge?

Do you have a heating pad at home? If you do, get a plastic bowl, put the tort in the bowl with about 2" of damp (but not super moist) substrate under it. Put the bowl on the heating pad and cover with a towel. Get the substrate up to about 80F and hold it as close to that as you can for a couple hours. See if your little one perks up. Put some drinking water in there too and if it wakes up, offer some mazuri as a mash. (consistency of sausage gravy). See where it goes from there. Do you have an exotic vet in your area that does reptiles?

There is not nasal discharge but there is a little eye discharge, I'll try that and see if he does anything. Also we tried to make a vet appointment but there closest opening is 3-4 weeks out

I think I found a worm in the water dish 🤢
Could this be apart of the issue, how should I deworm them, and could it be causing the issue
