I think I might give 0.3 ml once or twice a day.

Anyone can handle the math to figure out how to give an oral dosage of the 40% sulfadimethoxine for a 5lb hen. I'm not strong enough with math for something important like this.
I dont think water was effective enough as just simply not drinking enough and id like to give a 5 day oral dosage at this point.
She's not improving? Can you post some photos of her, inside the beak as well?Bad smell coming from head/face. Yellow stuff building up in lower eye lids. Scabby and crusty things on face, wattle, comb and areas above nostrils.
I wouldn't bother with that mixture.Going to start with .2-.3 oral today. I didnt want to start last night in case she wouldn't feel well during the night from the medicine. Figured it'd be better to start her during the day when she's active. Does anyone think feeding the water solution of the medicine is helpful/beneficial at all.. Since it provides water as well? Or is the concentration too low to do anything medicine wise.
I wouldn't bother with that mixture.
Is she drinking on her own?
It's better to just direct dose her anyways. I don't blame her... I imagine the mixture doesn't taste too good.Yes shes drinking on her own she just doesn't like the medicine in her water. She basically wont touch the mixture water.
