Hello,
I have a question on Sulmet, we have some chickens who have been on it and laid some eggs a friend would like to try to hatch. Has anyone ever done this? Is it okay to do? I know some people (not me) will eat the eggs while their chickens are being treated, but I don't know about hatching! Would the meds effect the chick negatively, would it do nothing, or could it possibly help it have a better resistance to Cocci? Any help and advice would be appreciated!
Thanks

I read on another forum about someone setting eggs while the hens were on Sulmet and they reported no problems. That's all they said, though, so I can't tell you anything more.

Good luck.

Thanks so much! I would not think it would be a problem, but was hoping someone else would have some experience!
