Sulmtalers Thread

Pics
I am in the process of updating my website so I took lots of new photos of my flocks. Here are some Sulmtaler photos taken yesterday. California is experiencing a significant rain shortage which is why these photos looks like there were taken in the summer. Sadly this Stream usually has water in it til April or May. Getting a little worry about the lack of grass.

Oh what pretty girls, and majestic rooster!

Hope you get rain soon!! WE just had an artic freeze for too many days, then 7 inches of snow when normally it is too cold to snow, 24 hrs of very warm air that is melting most of the snow, and tonight temps drop like a rock again to temps far below our norm. "What have we done?" ---- from a scene in the Mummy when the plagues are penalizing the people. Fortuneately, my birds don't seem to mind the cold, just don't like the winds and snow. lol

I cannot take credit for him. I purchased him from Caroline at Widget Creek Farm in Arizona. He is a lovely boy and so gentle with his girls.

I'm thinking it's a pullet, she is talking like the other 2 pullets but her coloring, I don't know. She isn't looking like the other blue/wheaten. This is the same chick I posted #428
