Sulmtalers Thread

Pics
I have a question, how many colors of the Sulmtalers are there being bred here in the US and I'm asking if there is anyone willing to sell any GDW eggs? Thanks, Eric
Eric,
I believe there are at least four. There are Wheaten, Gold Duckwing, White and Blue varieties currently being bred. We would be happy to work with you on the GDW...send us a PM if you are interested.
Best,

Brice,

Great job on that! The Sound of Music is my favorite movie.

The hen in your photo has excellent evenly distributed color on her!

Here are mine...

Those were great links...thanks for sharing. I saved a copy of the article you referenced for future use. We have a several birds not pictured, including a wheaten rooster and a lighter colored hen... We also have a handful of chicks that are a few weeks old. I just love this breed and have been waiting for them to start laying before we started talking about them...I didn't want to jinx it! What a great website...we've toyed with getting Javas for a long time, but right now we have our hands full. Maybe in the future we'll have to talk to you about it...they definitely fit our profile. Thanks Glenis!

GLinis-- again thank you for the link to your wed-- GREAT material there. Kept me from my chores reading every word.

Brice-- love the way you write-- it is a gift! Felt like I was reading a PBS special.

Arielle,
I'll be honest... that PBS comment was about as nice as anything you could say! I'm constantly talking to my MBA students about things I saw on PBS...or heard on NPR. I think they mostly roll their eyes now...

But you couldn't have picked a better compliment for me! You're too kind!

MOst of your students are young -- Someday they will remember your words . . .

Only way to be connected to the world is PBS or NPR. It is like taking a college class every day.

Thanks, glad you liked it.
I'm still working on it and hope to have it fine tuned in the near future.

Of course, I can't say enough good things about Brice and Sunbird Farms. So glad he's on board with Sulmtaler. We need more out there like him!
