My two Sulmtaler chicks are a distinctively different color. One is yellow-ish and a little on the small side and one is white-ish and larger. They are about 3 weeks old. They are beautiful. They also seem skiddish. Has this been everyone else experience with them?

Hello there! From my experience they remain skiddish until they are adults. Then they are reserved/curious but don't make much fuss when being handled. They more seem to let you know with their looks that you are way out of line stepping in their territory unless you bring treats.
The males seem somewhat lighter colored when very little but wing feathers will soon be distinctly dark! Blackish dark wing feathers =male.
This is Widget Creek Ranch which seems to be the origin of most US Sulmtalers at this point.

Not yet, it'll be a few weeks. I have my sulmtalers in with my crele polish roosters right now since I did not have a roo- looking forward to having purebred chicks at some point. I hatched a few sulmtaler X polish babies. boy are they cute. Right now they are still yellow. I am totally curious if they will be crele or lacing from daddio.
