My sultan hen has been found by myself with a bloody foot or feet 3 times now. I bring her in and wash her feet, keep her in overnight, and put her back out with the others once she is cleaned up and not bleeding anymore. I am not sure how she is breaking them but I assume that her feet feathers are getting caught on something. Is there a way to safely trim her feet feathers back so that they don't get caught on things? I would like to trim them but dont want to try it without some instruction. Thank you in advance for your help
