Sultan with bleeding foot

    I have a sultan that is about 4 months old, it looks as if some of the foot feathers have been pulled out and they are bleeding. I have isolated her and cleaned her up and applied neosporin. Is there anything else I should do? Once the bleeding has stopped I will return her to the flock.

    If she's still bleeding you might try flour, corn starch or a styptic pencil to stop it. Feed stores sell a product to stop bleeding as well. You'd probably have to wipe the Neosporin off.
