Sumatra Thread!

Wow , thank you rambob for all your pics ! very interesting i know it,s a challenge to take chicken pics , they always move !!! Some of my Sumatras are very aggressive too and hard to catch , the hens like to fight together , it drive me crazy , i hate that when they pluck each others ( they don't eat the feathers ! ) They just have a strong closed hierarchy and no place for newcomers . I also have to take pics of my new Sumatra youths fom this spring , they are 3 months old . I have one young roo who is really tall , kinda Thai or Malay type . His tail is not grown yet ... ?

I have just got some very recently I have 4 not sure sex or if they are blue or black . Is there anything special that they need to eat and can they free range ? Will be following this thread I think this is going to be one of those breeds that is very different and unique .I already want more after I learn more about them
