are the male Sumatra chicks the ones with more yellow? the darker ones seem to be a bit smaller

Color as a chick doesn't mean anything towards gender on sumatras.

sad to hear man . my first shipment of sumatras was a DOA but they sent my order again and most survived. good luck with that,hope you get your sumatras

At 4 months they're fully feathered, they can definitely go outside
