She can show your birds but she'd have to fill out some lease paper work if your not selling her the bird.

she can show what ever birds is hers or yours if you allow her. My sister and I show Open and Junior together under one name so we both get the credit and we are also reg under the APA and ABA with the same name! I have been in 4H since i was 6 and i am the current president of my counties 4H club so if you have any questions about 4H you can ask me.

I know in our county they don't have to own the bird, but they have to take care of them, I think its up to each individual county

if it your parent or siblings bird it doesn't matter bacause they are on the same property and at some shows I let my younger members show some if my nicer birds so they I have a chance to get some great awards I don't see the big deal of showing some1 else's bird if they allow you and u give them full credit for the bird espeacily for kids just starting out?

I am not against it but I think it is cheating especially if your parents are doing it for you and giving you there best birds. it's is not coming from you! it is much better to select them and do it yourself. not to sound selfish but when I see this happening I feel upset. my parents knew nothing about chickens so as you can see I started from scratch and worked my way up.

I feel the same. Parents showing thier kids birds annoys me, as well as 4h members showing their leaders birds when it's not an open show.
