. Waiting for the snow to trun to ice here (from what the weather man says anyway). I'd rather get another 6 inches of snow then ice.

I hope you don't get the ice either, so dangerous. Is six inches of snow a lot for you down there? They said by the time it gets up here we might get a foot of snow, but we get that pretty regular up here.
We have not had a drop of rain or snow sense November. It is unusually dry in NM.

I wish we were getting the moisture. We really need it!

Yeah, schools have been closed. Luckily the kids are still alive, in fact they have been doing very well with it. Unfortunately none of the snow has been good for making snowmen (or whatever else they can think of) or snowball fighting, but they have tramped the yard down fairly well and even cleaned off the old neighbor lady's steps and ramp for her. They enjoyed another track finding walk, even through all we found were dog and cat tracks this time. Luckily we didn't get much sleet and it didn't seem to stick to the trees or power lines. The weather man says we are in for more snow today, so I'm waiting to see how much more we get.

Hope it's going well for everyone else.

Got 9-10 inches in my yard with an ice crust over it here in nc but it'll be gone in days lol snow is getting to be such a rare accurance here that people lose they're minds and clear store shelves and such only to feel foolish in a few days when its gone and they have a ton of parishables to eat

It's snowing hard and very windy/gusty at times here. I'm loving every minute of it! Hard to tell how many inches because of the drifting.

I sent to kids over to the old neighbors house again to do the steps and ramp, needless to say I think she is pumping them full of goodies again. But at least I know she is ok and can get out of her house if need be. Just don't know if I'll get the kids back, as its been awhile since I seen them. We got a little ice and then some rain on top of it last night, so we have a nice slick ice crust over the snow. The kids little dog isn't doing too well with it, but everything else is fine.
