how exciting!! one of my sumatra mommas is laying on 4 currently. When she gets up to eat, her daughter will rotate in, its adorable haha! Hope they're viable and hatch! *fingers crossed*

I have a friend with a very low tailed Sumatra, I think I will be getting it. I am not planning on making more Sumatra with it though. I've got some Sumatra half breeds hatched.

are the parents show quality have they competed at poultry shows and won, rare qualities the parents might have like if mom lays blue eggs, dad has long tail or more than 3 spurs. I would pay more for a chick that comes from parents like that. The most i have payed is 8 dollars per egg. I have some sumatra x gold duckwings that i sold for 2 bucks each. pure sumatra chicks im thinking 5, 7 bucks each?

It is a black Sumatra pullet from someone that breeds Sumatra for showing. He was going through his breeding pens and found them. He noticed that the tails were either extra wide or too low for Sumatra. He knows that I breed Cubalaya and immediately thought of me.
