She took Reserve of Show at the APA Semi Annual in Stevenson Washington. She did look better at the show than she does in this pic.

Hey if anyone wants to do an egg swap--let me know. I am looking for some new blood to introduce into my line. I need to work on size with my birds. They are within the APA guidelines for correct size but I have noticed the judges around here want them bigger.

i dont like to loose any eggs from this guys thats why they are in cages.
they have a excellent behavior but, they get really aggresive when im trying to hold them specially when they feel cornered
in the cages.
when they are freerange they act really wild

I see many pics of Sumatras in cages and small runs...with them being advertised as a game-like bird that doesn't take confinement well, do any of you have problems with them in cages? I have 25 three-month old youngsters and they have full run of a small barn and 12 acres, yet they won't go fifteen feet past the door of the barn. There are plenty of trees for cover but they are very timid. I find this to be the opposite of what they're advertised to be!
