Lol, no pre-sales on eggs this yet, starting Jan 1st we will. I think the plan is to seperate birds and do home hatching through March. I plan to have eggs for sale at the end of March/beginning of April. You want eggs from the dun hen right? She will mostly be with a bantam black rooster, the main project goal will be bantam duns. We might put the dun cockerel with the dun hen or some in-between blacks. It was pointed out that the dun cockerel could be from a bantam rooster but looking at his legs he looks large.

X2 -- actually, next time I road trip out to Spokane, maybe you'll want to sell me one of your pro breeding roo's.

If you come in the spring I would be glad to send you home with some chicks. We have 3 roosters, one is 9 and retired and the other two will be used for breeding. We may have a bantam black cockerel for sale before too long, he looked like a pullet for the longest time but when I was handling him today I saw he is a boy

I may just have to take you up on that. I'm trying to breed larger sized birds, but my current boy, though blue, has no spurrs on his legs and is about 2-3 years old so I doubt he's getting them. I'd like some better stock I think to get a bit better offspring.

I have large fowl, but not perfect stock. I guess you mostly have bantams though so I'll probably have to find bigger birds elsewhere.

I don't need them to get bigger, but I don't really want to have bantams at this point. Maybe when I get out of the city and don't have a stupid limit on the # of birds I can keep, but for now, I want to keep bigger birds = bigger eggs.

Ah ok. I would like to use the duns to go the largefowl route again but others dont want largefowl. They are pretty great though. Even if you dont want a rooster, you should give me a holler the next time youre on this side of the state. Its always nice to meet new BYC members.

I only want LF, I like my chickens big!

I will definitely contact you early next Spring, I personally would love to get some Dun X Dun eggs from you in hopes of hatching a Khaki bird or two.

ETA: Dun X Black would work too though, I'm not going to be picky!
