Summer Quilt Block Swap-Due August 15th.

ok we will let her cook a little longer, how long typically is a mother to be allowed to go over before being induced. My husband said he is going to win.

Question for you Ladies: The amount of blocks received is usually different than number of blockers who signed up, so there is usually extra blocks that get sent back to you. My question is what about out of the extra blocks I make up extra sets then put all received blockers names in a basket and then pick names and that person will receive an extra set. So if I have 4 extra sets then 4 blockers will receive and extra set. Or do you want me to just continue sending your extra blocks back to you? I figured I have my fabric and I can make my own extra blocks and really don't need my extra blocks back. Does this make sense to you? Course I would post who is the lucky recipients of the extra blocks. Tell me what you think and if this sounds like something you would like to do.

That sounds like a pretty good idea. I like my extra blocks back because it provides some uniformity for the entire quilt (whenever I get them put together). But, getting a whole additional set would be great!

I prefer the same number back that I send. I don't mind getting some of the same. Those are good for matching pillow shams. I've made a few into covers for the cat's bed.

Got it- all the extras put together make another set like 'someone else sent them in'. With the amount of people in this swap there would be two more sets. Right Kat? I would agree to either way.
