Summer Quilt Block Swap-Due August 15th.

Thanks Kat. I hope it was okay to staple the paper to them. I tried to put it where the seam allowance would be. Can't wait to get the blocks from everyone. Its always like Christmas when I get them.

btw if I owe any postage on my return package send it COD and I will pay it. The last time I sent blocks I had to pay extra when they came. I don't know why because the post office is the one that put the postage on, not me.

I don't think the staples will hurt anything. Any postage less than a dollar I wouldn't worry about. That's crazy on the paying of the postage because they are always weighed again before the postman takes the package, so he checks the weight and the postage before you even get to leave the PO. Crazy

I can't wait to open everyone's blocks and start sorting them.



Attention: I am going to sort and ship Friday August 23rd so if you don't have your blocks into me by then you will miss this swap. This gives you an extra week. If your blocks are in transit you need to let me know so I will wait on them to come in, if I don't hear anything. I will figure you have opted out.

Ladies, I have gotten word that two more block sets will be shipped tomorrow, so I think I will sort and ship when I get them as I have PM'd the others and have seen that they were on and they have not responded so I'm guessing they just didn't know how to say they dropped out. One has not been on in at least two months so I hope everything is ok with her.

All the fabric came from JoAnn's. I liked them together and thought the center pattern looked like Peacock feathers.

Its fine with me. I realize things happen & I truly hope everyone is okay but being on here and not showing what I would consider a common courtesy is unacceptable behavior imo. I hope everyone understands we are at the mercy (commitment or lack thereof) of the individuals who participate in these exchanges. I am grateful and appreciate the "constant" participants for making this fun, exciting & rewarding. Thank you ladies as I always enjoy jumping in with you when I can.

It is very hard for some to take responsibility for there actions. If they could do so it would make them feel much better about themselves.
We all know that there can be circumstances that can't be over come, but just let us know.

littlechicklet I just love that dragonfly print. I have done a quilt for my oldest daughter in purples and greens.
I love it (again) every time I see it, the colors are very restful.
