When I was young I stepped on a yellow jacket nest whilst I was barefooted.

My foot got HUGE

, I still have a hatred for yellow jackets.

Whenever I go use the weed-eater I stumble upon a nest of winged creatures

.

Red wasps surprisingly don't bother me, they will legit land on me and not do a thing, it's the hornets who hate me with a passion.

Hornets have incredibly long stingers, it hurts pretty bad to be stung by them.

I can't remember how bad the yellow jackets felt. I was only like 6-7 y/o when it happened. I was stung by a hornet less than 2 weeks ago, he stung me 8 times in the back. Not my favorite experience. I couldn't imagine being stung by a scorpion, glad we don't have any in my area.

I don't think I've ever been stung by a yellow jacket either but I got bit by a black fly once, it hurt real bad for a minuet

I will tell you though, being bit by a chicken hurts, being flogged is perhaps worse in some cases. Not a fun experience at all.
