It’s almost Sunday Funday again! I hope to get Christmas tree and decor packed up in addition to my regular stuff

Our tree didn't make it to New Year's. Normally they last, this one dried out fast. Plus side, all the decorations are put away already.

We’re teetering on the idea of ditching our tree…..it has the wired-in lights that decided to mostly die this year we can either replace it next fall or consider switching back to a real tree

We've got a couple fake ones in storage, I just really prefer to have a real one. Mess and all.

We’ve had many real trees over the years…..im thinking main reason for switching back was 1) increasing cost of real trees 2) having the dogs in the house marking real tree and drinking tree water but we put up a barrier fence around the artificial tree so that would hopefully prevent #2

Sunshine here today. I spent much time outside. Now preparing a Rosemary/Balsamic pork roast, baked sweet potatoes, cauliflower, and I am thinking about Bisquick biscuits.

Not getting much accomplished here IMO……dreary and chilly day. Didn’t finish breakfast until after 2 and already “time” to start dinner.
