i have a bunch of sunflower plants that im trying to move to make room for azaleas..well, i dug them up and replanted them and within minutes they look dead! all wilted and saggy..just awful.

are they truly dead? how can i avoid this with the next bunch??

If they were very big at all their tap root was probably damaged. They have a very long tap root and it's easy to damage it. They grow so fast it's probably just as easy to plant some new ones where you want them.

i dug really deep though, and got all the roots..or so i thought.
are they easy to grow?? i guess i suck at it then because this is my first really successful year at it

miracal grow sells a root booster for transplanting, it has saved many plants. I use organic things mainly but this works wonders:)
