Sunflower seeds?

Can I feed my chicks sunflower seeds? The kind that's bird seed? They really seem to love it! Their ages are 10-16 weeks. Thanks.

I know it's fine to feed as adults, I was just wondering if it's okay to feed them to the younger ones. They eat them shell and all. Their favorite treat besides bugs!
