Sunny is very quiet...

Try putting her in a steamy bathroom. The steam could help her breathing. It does sound like she is getting a respiratory infection, but without a diagnosis from a vet I'm just guessing. Baytril, Terramycin and Agramycin are all safe antibiotics for ducks that are used to treat respiratory infections and are easily gotten from feed stores. I try not to give any antibiotics unless absolutely necessary. It is very likely a regular vet will not see a duck as they are not trained in this area. We had a duck that was wheezing (before egg laying age) and we kept her in a steamy bathroom. that helped with the wheezing until we got her Terramycin. This helped her and she is perfectly fine now. We chose not to got to an avian vet as they are quite expensive. Good luck, but see about getting her into a steamy room.

ETA:read more of other post and it could be gape worm so dont' know that anything I wrote would help.

Ok, thanks guys. I have a choice, I could either order it online right now or go to the feed store first thing in the morning. My local feed store doesn't have the best selection, so I'm not sure if they would carry Ivermectin. I could order the stuff online but it would take a few days. I only have one choice as my parents don't want to buy more than I need.

I have never seen wormer specifically for ducks. I don't think there are any out on market.

That is my understanding also. I've been to all the feed stores in my area and none of them know a whole lot about ducks either.

Do they carry Horse Wormer? If so, you will have to look at the box and see that it says IVERMECTIN 1.87%. Bimectin, Agri-Mectin, Zimectrin are some of the names of the Ivermectin horse wormers out there.

Pet Duck Boy- What feed store do you go to?

I googled "feed store orlando, fl" and I found a place that has Ivermectin for $4.95 a syringe. The place is called Farm City Feed Store.

I go to Hal's feed store, it's a family owned company that doesn't have everything. It's 10 minutes away and that's the only one my dad will take me to. I'll be sure to call them in the morning, they open at 6 am thankfully.
