Yeah, I'm not seeing a plug in lawn mower in our future either.

we have a customer (we have an electrical contracting company) that needed her outside outlet turned a different direction because she couldn't plug her fancy, development approved, lawn mower into her house because it was awkward

We have 2 acres, of which we mow about 1/2. The 1/2 closest to the house and "bird garden". Takes a couple heavy-duty cords, but works well. I like not having to use gas.
